So when we saw the former Gossip Girl star at an H&M launch party last night, we decided ask him a little more about his travel quirks. Pro tip: If your airplane fantasy involves chatting him up on a JFK–LAX jaunt, grab the aisle. And mention Mos Def.
Window or aisle?
The window, so I can sleep.
Do you sleep well on planes?
Not as well anymore. I used to be able to fall asleep like that, wherever, but it’s gotten harder. I don’t know what happened.
So now you’re busy checking out the view?
Yeah—during takeoff, I’m still like a toddler, looking at the clouds and fantasizing.
What’s the best view you’ve seen?
The Grand Canyon from 30,000 feet. It’s stunning. I still have photos of it on my phone.
And when you’re on the ground, what’s your go-to road trip song?
“Umi Says” by Mos Def. It’s long, mellow, and relaxing.

The summer is over and Serena has gone missing. After a brief encounter abroad, Chuck and Blair make a promise to each other about their relationship, which leaves them once again apart. Dan, with some help from an unlikely ally, Georgina, is writing a scathing tell-all book that can only mean trouble. As the sole head of The Spectator, Nate is making his own decisions and is ready to go up against Gossip Girl. As word spreads that Serena is missing, the gang bands together to find her and are shocked by what they find.

Poor Penn Badgley (Dan) just can’t catch a break.
Fans jumped for joy when the Gossip Girl star cut his hair last month, but then quickly decried the brand new face-framing beard he debuted along with it. “I know everybody hates it,” Penn told Vulture of his new facial hair. (And that tiny little moustache he had for a while? It didn’t help things.)
Now that Penn is back to filming Gossip Girl Season 6, both his beard and moustache are nowhere to be scene. However, Penn did recently show off another distinguishing new physical marking: a brand new tattoo.
We took a poll among GG fans like you, to help get a read on what you think of Penn’s new tatt. Surely anything could be better than that not-so-classy topless chick perched on Ed Westwick’s (Chuck) shoulder, no?
Sadly, fans just aren’t digging Penn’s new ink. 29% of readers may have voted that Penn’s feather-shaped leg tattoo is “HOT,” but that leaves 71% who voted a resounding “NOT.”
No love for Lonely Boy these days, is there? Geez.
